• 2 parts American Whiskey
  • 3/4 part lemon juice
  • 1/2 part simple syrup
  • A few dashes of bitters

Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake. Add ice, shake again, garnish.

A splash of red wine was a popular finishing option in the early-1880s, which is now known as the New York Sour.
