- 1.5 oz Bourbon
- 1oz Fresh Lemon Juice (approx. 1 lemon)
- 0.5 oz Rhubarb Simple Syrup
- 1 Small-medium Egg White (optional)
- Lemon Wheel or Zest
Rhubarb Simple Syrup
1.5 cups Water
1.5 cups White Sugar
4 cups Chopped Rhubarb
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon wheel or zest.
Rhubarb Simple Syrup:
Combine all ingredients into a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a light boil and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and strain into a clean jar or bowl with a fine mesh sieve. Let cool. Syrup will keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
