If you love bonfires and bourbon, you’ll be one happy camper after trying @bourbonbella’s S’Mores Old Fashioned featured on @knobcreek’s IG!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 parts Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon
- ¾ parts Toasted Marshmallow Simple Syrup
- 2-3 dashes Chocolate Bitters
- Graham crackers and/or dark chocolate shavings for garnish
Toasted Marshmallow Syrup: Create a simple syrup and leave on simmer. Thread 8 marshmallows onto a metal skewer. Use a kitchen torch or gas stove burner to toast until brown but not burnt. Stir marshmallows into syrup and cook for 2-3 minutes until dissolved. Remove, strain, and let cool, then stir in 1 tsp. of vanilla extract.
METHOD:
Combine ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, stir and strain into a glass over one large ice cube. Partially rim the glass with graham cracker crumbles. Garnish with a toasted marshmallow and (opt) dark chocolate shavings.
