Boston Sour

Did you know that a Whiskey Sour with an egg white is called a Boston Sour? Dry shake your ingredients first to help your egg foam rise in volume before the ice and cold water have a chance to dilute. While egg whites will have very little effect on the cocktail’s taste, they add a nice rich, silky, foam texture. Vegan? Use Gum syrup!​

Boston Sour​

  • 2 parts Bourbon ​
  • ¾ part Lemon juice​
  • ½ Sugar syrup​
  • ½ part egg white​

Dry shake all ingredients and strain back into shaker. Add ice and shake again. Double-strain into a short ice-filled glass.​
