Birched Old Fashioned

When cocktails started becoming more complex in the 1800s, bar patrons would ask for a drink that was “old fashioned,” meaning that it was muddled or stirred instead of shaken. Watch the video to see how celery bitters, birch syrup, and maple complement the whiskey in this Canadian take on an American classic. Have you tried them in a cocktail?⁣

  • 2 tsp Maple Syrup⁣
