In the 1860s, the Whiskey Sour started off as a simple, 3-ingredient cocktail commonly using bourbon as the base spirit. Nowadays, Sour recipes can be found with 5 to 6 ingredients including American Rye, rum or even gin. APPLE CIDER TENNESSEE SOUR
INGREDIENTS
2 parts Tennessee Whiskey
½ part Mulled Apple Cider Syrup
½ part Lemon Juice
¼ tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Dashes Bitters
1 Egg White
Dried Apple Slice
METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice and shake. Fill shaker with ice, shake, double strain and garnish with a few drops of bitters and dried apple slice. Enjoy!
